Before you vote on the Harbourside park plan

One vote per resident, so we need to know who is voting and that they live in the area. ID Wallet shares your name, date of birth, your address with a proof of address kept in it, and an ID document with a chip, and you hold the document to your phone so its chip answers us live; an expired document is accepted. Then we run our own face check on this page and compare your face with the photo in the chip.

  1. Share your ID document and proof of address

    Your name, date of birth, address, a proof of address kept in ID Wallet (a recent bill, statement or letter) and an ID document with a chip. When you share, hold the document to your phone so its chip can be checked live. An expired document is accepted.

    This demo is not connected to its verification service yet, so it cannot start a request.

  2. Face check

    Civic Roll runs it on this page, not ID Wallet: a short liveness check with your camera, then your face is compared with the photo in the document’s chip.

  3. Vote

    Choose one of three designs for the park.
